Please indicate if you are interested in Chairing a committee. Seasoned members are encouraged to fill Chair positions so less experienced members can learn in a welcoming environment.


 •      Awards and Recognition: responsible for actively soliciting and nominating award recipients

• Bylaws: responsible for reviewing and updating current bylaws

• Communications: responsible for coordinating communications to members; updating website content; maintaining
social media outlets

• Events:  responsible for coordinating at least two social and/or professional events for members and working with student liaison to engage with URI students (Cheers/Beers with Peers, Town Hall meetings, Golf, etc)

• Fundraising: responsible planning and coordinating fundraising events/efforts including but not limited to the annual raffle

• Legislative: responsible for identifying, reviewing, and disseminating pertinent legislative and regulatory information to the Council of Administration and membership

• Membership: responsible for coordinating member recruitment/retention efforts, updating member profiles, and gauging member needs/benefits; organizing Pharmacy Month engagement efforts with Events and Communications Committees

• Professional Development: responsible for coordination of Spring Seminar and other professional development programming, including recruitment of speakers and sponsors
