2010 RIPA Awards – we need your nominations!

Awards season is here! There are the Oscars, the Emmys, the Golden Globes and not to be forgotten-the 2010 Rhode Island Pharmacists Association Awards. These prestigious awards are bestowed upon outstanding pharmacists and supporters of pharmacy in Rhode Island. Any RIPA member may nominate any eligible member for the following awards:

Bowl of Hygeia	RIPA Service Awards.
Young Pharmacist of the Year	Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award
Guido L. Pettinichio	Pharmacy Technician Practice Award

The awards will be presented at the Awards/Installation Dinner on Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Amalfi/Village Inn, Narragansett, Rhode Island. Deadline for nomination submissions is Friday, April 2, 2010. All forms should be mailed to Norman A. Award Winners

On June 20th at Potowamet Country Club in Warwick, the 135th RIPA President’s Dinner was held to honor outgoing president, Linda Carver. The new Council of Administration was installed and several awards were presented to our pharmacy leaders.
