Rhode Island Pharmacy Foundation
Our Mission
The Rhode Island Pharmacy Foundation is a nonprofit organization.
Its purposes and objectives are exclusively charitable, scientific,
educational, and literary. Specifically, the Foundation will:

- Encourage the advancement of the practice of pharmacy
in the state through the rendition of educational services
for the benefit of pharmacists, other health care professionals,
and the general public.
- Provide opportunities for the encouragement and advancement
of new pharmaceutical developments and to convey this knowledge
to members of the profession and the general public.
- Assist in the education of students of pharmacy through
financial aid and scholarship programs.
- Promote the general welfare through the support of pharmacy
outreach programs to the community, such as medication counseling
programs, drug abuse and poison control lectures, and health
programs for the elderly
- Assist chemically impaired members of the profession through
intervention and rehabilitation programs.
